MY STORY

It was a special night in 1982 when I sat at a piano wishing I could play. I was 12 years old and was missing my father who had died. Wanting to express what I was feeling in music I prayed a simple prayer; "God, if you give me the gift to play I will give it back to you." Immediately I began to play as if I had been trained. From that moment on my life would never be the same....

Thru the years the music you're about to hear has touched the hearts of people seeking peace and hope. It has been performed on live television, aired over the radio, heard over the internet and can be found in cancer centers, counseling centers, burn centers, funeral homes, wedding chapels, banks, films, and everywhere in between.

People always say, "There's just something about this music!" Little do they know that this project was actually a miracle in the making. This album was mostly composed and "captured" on the spot. Any producer knows that in the studio, you're not recording music, you're recording a moment. Every session was started with a prayer with the engineer and with the composer, and while it was said that the player "radiated at the piano," I just sensed the peace of God in that room.


Years after the recording was released several people would come up to me and say, "I've been listening to your music for _ years." While that was flattering, the comment I will never forget is a precious lady walking up to me at a lunch meeting and saying, "I've been listening to your music for 11 years. I would always have it playing during my chemotherapy sessions and it would make the pain more bearable." She requested another recording because she literally broke the tape from playing it so much. It was then that I realized just how blessed I was to be a part of her healing.

For all my friends who have wanted to buy this music and for those first discovering it I have this one request: That you make a copy and give it to someone who needs peace in their situation.
